Vicki Preibisch

Founding Partner

Vicki Preibisch is a founding partner at Verja Capital, focused on capital strategy, governance, and investor alignment across the full investment lifecycle. She brings over two decades of experience operating at the intersection of capital markets, sustainability, and corporate transformation.

Her career spans senior roles at Citi, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Marel, and Controlant, where she has led and executed investments from sourcing and structuring through to exit, including IPOs, large-scale financings, and governance transformation in both institutional and high-growth environments. She combines disciplined capital allocation with hands-on operational insight - supporting companies in becoming investor-ready, scaling internationally, and building resilient, accountable organisations.

Vicki’s work is grounded in the belief that governance is leadership at its most demanding. She has held board and advisory roles across climate-tech, industrial, and institutional platforms, including Vice-Chair of UN Global Compact Iceland, and is a shareholder in a Nordic business angel network. Her expertise in sustainable investing (CFA Institute) and climate risk (GARP), alongside a background in global political economy and board governance, positions her at the forefront of aligning capital with long-term system resilience.

Based in Iceland, she brings a strong European investor network and deep connectivity into industrial and technology ecosystems. At Verja Capital, she leads investor relations and capital formation, ensuring alignment between institutional capital and mission-critical innovation.

Graham De Jong is a founding partner at Verja Capital, leading execution, operations, and systems scaling across the portfolio. He is an operator by background, with over 20 years of experience building and scaling mission-critical infrastructure, data, and technology systems in high-stakes environments.

His career spans leadership roles across Deloitte, Booz Allen Hamilton, and the U.S. Census Bureau, as well as venture and entrepreneurial experience. He has led large-scale programmes across government and industry, including national infrastructure and emergency response systems where reliability, speed, and coordination are essential. His work includes directing large, multi-disciplinary teams in crisis-sensitive environments and delivering programmes where failure is not an option.

Graham brings both investor and founder perspective, having worked in venture capital at a U.S.-based EdTech VC firm and previously founded a consulting business focused on data products and customer intelligence. With a background in public policy and business (BS, Penn State University; MBA, University of Maryland), he combines institutional insight with operational execution across both public and private sector systems, informing his approach to identifying and scaling technologies that are deployable, scalable, and dependable in real-world conditions.

At Verja Capital, he works closely with founders on execution, operational design, and scaling - bringing structure, discipline, and systems thinking to companies operating in complex and regulated environments. Based in Iceland, his transatlantic network provides access to government, infrastructure, and technology ecosystems across North America.
